Moving Meditation Seminar: Hybrid Combination of yoga, Tai Chi, chi gung and pranayama
In this free training seminar, you will see a two part workshop, the first video is broken down into our yoga flow combined with our unique “coiling” which is integral in energy work and building intent into moving meditations. Coiling creates dynamic tension with the intent of being wrapped around rubber bands and having to hold your form and structure as you are “imaginarily restricted” as you move. Then you will learn the dragon swim.
The second video brings you into a moving meditation form derived from Kung Fu with elements of Tai Chi where we recognize the power of “hard” and “soft” inside a moving meditation. We often practice chi gung (like standing forms from Yi Chuan) before our complementary yoga then end with Tai Chi, or sometimes even have hybrid free-flow classes where yoga meets Tai Chi inside our moving meditations.
